Respiratory Viral infection

Respiratory Viral infection is a general term refers to lung and airway infections. Respiratory viral infections are a leading cause of illness and mortality. These Infections are mainly caused by different types of viruses that can affect the breathing passages and cause respiratory illnesses such as severe wheezing, bronchiolitis or pneumonia. Viral respiratory infections are spread when a contaminated person talks, coughs or sneezes small droplets containing illness-causing agents into the air. The droplets in the air may be inhaled by those nearby. The viruses are also spread by direct contact with an infected person or indirect contact with hands, tissues or other articles soiled by nose and throat discharges of the infected person.
